Somewhere in the Arabian Sea
a wall of gray that turns out to be a warship slices a curtain of fog.
This is seen from above, not quite a bird’s eye view,
but hovering above the muster deck like a real gull might
(hoping for hail-maried scraps of MREs maybe).
The figures are no longer masked
sweated veils hang like extra faces around necks.
There is no camouflage, no formation, no banners or horns.
It might be called solemn.
The camera, as God, zooms in but
another force has powdered the faces with bits of fog.
They are as shrouded as the bundle that a trio powers overboard without
so much as a rifle shot.
Without so much
as an audible splash in the great wake of that unstoppable craft.

Here in Europe, there is unspoken disagreement about the methods employed in all this "political assassination". I agree this person was a killer, but the entire story, from beginning to end, including the video games that are now out seem to be inciting more followers to join. Perhaps a quieter more low profile would have been appropriate. I am nearly an American, although I do not have a US passport and I identify with its people, but the government is deceitful and provocative.
